Congratulations to the 50+ chess players who competed in our Chess Tournament on Thursday. Your winners pictured right to left are: Aidan Liang (3rd), Quinn Wiedle (2nd), and Anthony D'Angelo (1st) with Dr. John Worden, chess club co-advisor. Thanks all competitors, and to Dr.'s Conley and Worden for making this tournament happen.
Congrats also to Ms. Richard's Math students, who competed in the Elizabeth Haskins Math competition TODAY at Fitchburg State University. Special congratulations to Jacob Pervier (3rd place), and Katherine Longmuir (2nd place) for grade 10 students!
Kudos Warriors. We wish you all an outstanding spring vacation!

Congratulations to Ashlin Gallagher Sarah Hall, Xia Hill, Zayden Hill, Brielle Howlett, Raymond Kauffman, Ashley Lamoureux, Kasey Lovewell, Peter Stanley, and Faith Stillman for attending AP Day last week on Beacon Hill, and meeting with state senators, reps, and the governor about house bill H.1280 and senate bill S.838, which would create a uniform policy for accepting passing student Advanced Placement Scores. Great job (and advocacy) by these outstanding scholars!

The NRSD School Committee meeting will take place Wednesday, April 5th at 5:30pm in the NRHS Kiva.

Todays JV baseball and softball games vs Tahanto have been postponed due to field conditions. Games will be played at a later date.
Spring sports are underway! All team rosters have been finalized and practices have begun. If your athletes are practicing at Gilman Waite, we are providing a bus to transport MS & HS players to the Gilman fields. Families are responsible for picking players up after their practices/games. The bus meets everyday in front of the HS by the band/music doors and departs around 2:45.

Kudos goes out today to one outstanding Biomedical Science team, comprised of Kayla Desrosiers, Natalee Medlin, Ashley Kilbury, and Zayden Hill, for their work receiving Third Place on a biomedical science real-world project submission, aimed at helping health care facilities properly identify infants in the hospital setting. This work was reviewed and deemed outstanding by industry professionals. Bravo to the team, and Ms. Duplessis' PLTW Biomedical science students. Great news to start the week 'Gansett!
