- Busing Expectations- If your child rides the school bus or van, please review expectations with your child(ren). It is extremely important that we work together to be sure students are safe on the bus. All expectations have been reviewed with students at school and on the bus.
- Friday Night Lights & Spirit Day- We hope you are able to join us at the Narragansett Varsity Football game on September 26th for Friday Night Lights TES Night! The theme is STITCH (see flyer). We will also be having Spirit Day here at school for all students and staff. We encourage you to wear Stitch gear, the color BLUE or Hawaiian clothing!!
- Cheer Camp- If your child is attending the Cheer camp with Mrs. Hazelton on Thursday, your child CAN stay after school. Please write a note or send an email to the classroom teacher noting that they are staying after school for cheer camp. Pick up is at 6:30pm.
- NUT Free Snack Policy- Due to some significant student allergies, please do NOT send any nut products for snacks. This is a part of our parent-student handbook. We have allergen friendly areas in the cafeteria, so nut products can only be eaten during lunch, as snacks are eaten in classrooms.
- Bicycle, E-Bike & Scooter Safety on School Grounds- Across our district, we’ve seen a growing number of students riding bicycles, e-bikes, and scooters to and from school and around the neighborhood after school. We are happy to see students opting for an active and healthy way to get to and from school. However, with increasing traffic during the school day and busy patterns on school property, we’ve also seen a rise in close calls and safety concerns involving bicycles, e-bikes, and scooters. As part of our ongoing commitment to student safety, and with the collaboration of Templeton PD, we would like to inform families of a few important bike and scooter safety expectations:
Walk Bicycles/E-Bikes/Scooters on School Grounds
Once students arrive on school property, they must walk their bicycles, e-bikes, and scooters.  Riding is not permitted on school grounds (sidewalks, playgrounds, parking lots, or any other areas).
Use Crosswalks Safely
Students are expected to use designated crosswalks when crossing streets and to walk their bicycles, e-bikes, or scooters across with them.
We ask for your support in reviewing these expectations with your child. By working together, we can ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone on or around our school campuses.
SAVE THE DATE: WARRIOR FEST- OCTOBER 18TH!!
