1. Best Practices for Dismissing Your Child Early or Changes In Dismissal:
Email your child's teacher and Penny in the office at ptaintor@nrsd.org with the information.
Email your child’s teacher the day before.
Send in a note with your child in the morning.
This will help your child and their teacher in the event they are at lunch, outside at recess or in a special -- they can be all packed up and come right down!
If there are changes in how your child will be dismissed, please call the school BEFORE 1:30pm. Without communication from parent/guardian, your child’s dismissal plans will default to their usual schedule. We cannot rely on a student’s report of dismissal changes. Thank you so much for your cooperation.
2. Picture Day: Lifetouch will be at TES on Tuesday, September 24th for picture day. Order packets will be sent home soon or you can order online with Picture ID# EVTHGHXC2.
3. Dress Code: Please take a look at the updated dress code in the Student & Family Handbook CLICK HERE. An important item to note about the dress code: *sunglasses and hats/raised hoods are not permitted.
4. SchoolBrains Parent Community Parent Portal: CLICK HERE for the Narragansett SchoolBrains Parent Community Portal. This is the portal you will use to review and sign our Student & Family Handbook. This is mandatory for all families.
5. Lost and Found Items: Our lost and found is already starting to grow! Please be sure to LABEL all of your child’s belongings. This ensures that we can return items to their rightful owners!
