Principal’s Flyer #9: October 13, 2025
Dear Students & Families:
We hope you’ve enjoyed the holiday weekend! On Saturday, three generations of Young’s made the pilgrimage to Red Apple Farm. It was my nine month old’s first visit to Red Apple Farm (she had a blast). I’m never quite able to get over what a major operation this is, and how nice everyone is enjoying the day. This particular visit we encountered some outstanding Warriors (you know who you are) working their jobs on a very busy fall day. My daughters’ grandparents were struck by what we see on a daily basis - ‘Gansett students are polite, respectful and just generally terrific. Nice to see you Warriors (and community members too) enjoying your day outside of the school or extracurricular environment!
Students and families are reminded that this week is homecoming week, which will culminate in Warrior Fest this coming Saturday! Students - you can start getting into homecoming spirit with these spirit days, and you likely can still get a homecoming ticket on Tuesday if you are hoping to join the dance last minute! For all of our students and community members, we hope you will join us for Warrior Fest 2025, details below!
Finally, today we’re shouting out our student ambassadors: Jordan Baumann, Mya MacKay, and Ellison O’Day (left to right) for selection and participation in MIAA Student Leadership Summit last week and leadership activities all year. Jordan, Mya, and Ellison receive leadership training and support for fostering positive climate and school leadership through our athletic league and wider MIAA.
