Welcome Back Letter 25-26

Dear Narragansett Regional High School Students and Families:

It is with great pleasure that we send this welcome letter to students, parents/guardians, and families for this upcoming 2025-2026 school year.  We sincerely hope you are enjoying an extended, warm summer and are anticipating a phenomenal upcoming school year!  As our new school year approaches, we’d like to send along a few reminders regarding our upcoming school year, set to begin for all high school students on Wednesday, August 27th.

Whether you are an 8th grade student new to the high school, joining our district as a new student, or are a returning student; we are excited to begin what we expect will be a school year marked by a continued excellence of our school marked by celebration of our traditions alongside the daily progress toward growth and achievement of our outstanding young people.

In addition to this welcome letter, you will receive our first “Principal’s Flyer” for the year in your email sent to you on Monday, August 11th, which will serve as the first of many memos you will receive weekly from your administration when school is in session.  Please take a moment to make special note of several important pieces of information regarding our schedule for the year, pickup and drop-off, Warrior Welcome Academy on August 13th for 8th graders and students who are new to NRHS, the release of student schedules on August 13th, as well as other pertinent updates to help you stay fully informed over the course of the school year.   And finally, if you are a senior or junior parent/guardian of a prospective student driver, please pay special attention and respond to information sent directly to you regarding student parking applications

To all of our parents, families, and community members supporting our students and school: thank you for all you do to help support our students and staff.   We are looking forward to an outstanding, vibrant school year with an energetic high school student body in ‘25-26.  As always, we thank this community sincerely for the privilege of working with your students.  We look forward to seeing you all soon! Have a wonderful rest of your summer.

Warmly, and in touch-

Colby Young & Erin O’Dea
