I have driven around both towns reviewing bus routes, going to the Templeton Center for summer reading and popsicles, setting up a superintendent's coffee at the Phillipston Library on August 18th at 6:30, and generally driving around taking in the beauty of both communities. I feel very fortunate to be here and to be working with a very supportive and knowledgeable school committee, welcoming and capable administrators willing to share their understanding of the school district, and friendly staff members.
I thank everyone for such a warm and welcoming entrance. I look forward to greeting the students on opening day and for many days thereafter. I invite you to stop by this summer and say hello. My door is open and I look forward to meeting you, speaking with you, and listening to all the wonderful traditions here and also the challenges you face.
Together we can share, problem-solve, and tackle the issues before us. Our main goal -excellence in education for our students.
